About Suzie

During my time working in a children’s home I came across a counselling skills course, and thought it would be helpful to my work in the home. I soon realised that the way we worked in the home, and saw the children, was in a counselling person-centred way. That whatever had happened to them they have the ability to move towards a more fulfilling and satisfying way of being, and living their lives to the full. That we didn't see the children as flawed, with problematic behaviours, and thoughts, who had no potential, and any chance of a happy life.

This way of working came naturally to me, and led me to want to be a counsellor. Working together we can help you make those changes, and grow.
